Mery is a very nice young woman, with short jet black hair, light brown eyes like the skin of the Lion, slender body with very well pronounced hips and buttocks. She is one year away from graduating as a Chemical Engineer at the Central University of Venezuela. So she decides to do her internship to obtain her engineering degree. At the beginning of her studies at the University, she studies with a young man named Carlos, a native of the Araya peninsula. He is very handsome, dark skin, athletic body, jet black eyes, between them a beautiful friendship arose, but for economic reasons, this young man had to abandon his studies, and return to his hometown, with his mother Josefa, who is dedicated to prepare empanadas to sell to tourists who come to the beach. One cold morning, when she met her classmates in one of the university squares, she invited them to the cafeteria for coffee. They all had their cell phones in their hands. Mery usually carried her cell phone in her purse; that day, to be more comfortable, she put it in the back pocket of her pants. A few days later, Mery contacted Charles by cell phone and informed him that her mother had granted her permission. She also sent her bank and financial information. Within a few hours this young man transferred the money to her.
On February 28, Mery left for the city of Cumaná, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon she arrived in the bus at the passenger terminal. Charles is waiting for her. When she looked at him her cheeks reddened like a ripe tomato and Charles heart beat faster than the second hand of the clock, they gave each other a very fraternal hug, then he helped her with her bags and they went to the terminal of Puertos de Sucre, where they boarded the "Tapatíos" boats, they are boats that have a zinc roof, to protect the passengers from the incandescent sun, in that short trip, the young woman could appreciate that immense sea as blue as the blue of the sky. As they got off the boat while they were walking along the road, Mery noticed how all along the way there were Aloe Vera plants, despite being an arid town. She asked him:
“Who grows those plants?” He replies:
“Nobody takes care of them, they are born and reproduce wild.”
In a short time they arrived at Charles' house. His mother was waiting for them with delicious fish empanadas and mango juice. At the dining room table, while they were enjoying that exquisite dinner, his mother talked to Mery and Charles explained to the young woman the reasons why she had not heard from him for several years:
“I was transferred by ENSAL to Colombia, to create a branch in that country, I returned here a week ago”.
Late at night, each one went to his bedroom to sleep. The next day she put on his bathing suit and went with Charles to bathe at the beach. Then she went for a walk, to sunbathe and to see the ruins of the castle of Araya. In the afternoon they crowned the queen. Then they took her on a boat ride on the sea. As soon as they returned, the party began. A musical group began to play calypso
Mery immediately started dancing. Mery enjoyed those carnival festivities very much.
On Wednesday, Charlis got dressed to go to work at ENSAL Company.
Mery, excited, asked her:

She accompanied him, the Manager, General met her and ordered Charles:
“Show Mery, the facilities of this company”.
they toured all the facilities until they reached the Laguna Madre De la Salina de Araya. She asked him:

The following week, she returned to the Araya Peninsula to do his internship at ENSAL. The time passed like the speed of light, she finished her internships in the time foreseen, which were approved at the U.C-V with an excellent qualification. After two months the date for her graduation was set, she invited Charless who immediately showed up, when the graduation ceremony was over, he hugged her and very close to her ear he said:

Mery es una joven muy simpática, de pelo corto negro azabache, ojos marrones claros como la piel del León, cuerpo esbelto con caderas y nalgas muy bien pronunciadas. Le falta un año para graduarse como Ingeniera Química en la Universidad Central de Venezuela. Así que decide hacer sus prácticas para obtener su título de ingeniera. Al inicio de sus estudios en la Universidad, estudia con un joven llamado Carlos, oriundo de la península de Araya. Él es muy guapo, piel morena, cuerpo atlético, ojos negros azabache, entre ellos surgió una hermosa amistad, pero por razones económicas, este joven tuvo que abandonar sus estudios, y regresar a su pueblo natal, con su madre Josefa, quien se dedica a preparar empanadas para vender a los turistas que llegan a la playa. Con el paso del tiempo, Mery no volvió a saber nada de su amigo. Su vida siguió, muy feliz, con su madre. Cultivó buenas amistades en su universidad. Una fría mañana, cuando se encontró con sus compañeras en una de las plazas de la universidad, las invitó a tomar un café en la cafetería. Todos llevaban el móvil en la mano. Mery solía llevar el móvil en el bolso; ese día, para estar más cómoda, se lo metió en el bolsillo trasero del pantalón. Cuando llegó a la cafetería, se sentó en la silla y pisó el móvil con las nalgas y éste se activó, lo cogió en sus manos y notó que Carlos la estaba llamando. Inmediatamente ella respondió:
«Hola, amigo, me habías echado de menos, hacía cuatro años que no te oía, ¿Qué tal ese milagro?».
Carlos:: «Te invito a disfrutar de los carnavales de mi ciudad».
La joven: «Amigo, no puedo porque no tengo recursos económicos para viajar».
El joven: «No se preocupe, le haré una transferencia a su banco».
La joven: «Bueno, pero ¿Dónde me voy a alojar?».
Carlos «En mi casa, sigo viviendo con mi madre, trabajo en la empresa ENSAL».
Mery: «Pediré permiso a mi madre; si me lo concede, te llamaré».
Carlos: «¿Harás lo posible por venir, te explicaré el motivo de mi ausencia?».
Unos días más tarde, Mery se puso en contacto con Carlos por teléfono móvil y le informó de que su madre le había concedido el permiso. También le envió sus datos bancarios y financieros. En pocas horas, este joven le transfirió el dinero.
El 28 de febrero, Mery sale para la ciudad de Cumaná, a las 3 de la tarde llega en el autobús a la terminal de pasajeros. Carlos la está esperando. Cuando ella lo miró sus mejillas enrojecieron como un tomate maduro y el corazón de Carlos latió más rápido que el segundero del reloj, se dieron un abrazo muy fraterno, luego él la ayudó con sus maletas y se dirigieron al terminal de Puertos de Sucre, donde abordaron los barcos "Tapaítos", son embarcaciones que tienen un techo de zinc, para proteger a los pasajeros del incandescente sol, en ese corto viaje, la joven pudo apreciar ese inmenso mar tan azul como el azul del cielo. Así, llegaron al atracadero de los "Tapaítos"
Al bajar del barco, mientras caminaban por la carretera, Mery se fijó en que a lo largo de todo el camino había plantas de Aloe Vera, a pesar de ser un pueblo árido. Ella le preguntó:
«¿Quién cultiva esas plantas?» Él responde:
«Nadie las cuida, nacen y se reproducen silvestres».
En poco tiempo llegaron a casa de Carlos. Su madre les esperaba con deliciosas empanadas de pescado y zumo de mango. En la mesa del comedor, mientras disfrutaban de aquella exquisita cena, su madre conversó con Mery y Carlos le explicó a la joven las razones por las que no sabía nada de él desde hacía varios años:
«Fui trasladado por ENSAL a Colombia, para crear una sucursal en ese país, regresé aquí hace una semana».
Ya entrada la noche, cada uno se fue a su dormitorio a dormir. Al día siguiente se puso el bañador y se fue con Carlos a bañarse a la playa. Luego fue a pasear, a tomar el sol y a ver las ruinas del castillo de Araya. Por la tarde coronaron a la reina. Luego la llevaron a dar un paseo en barco por el mar. En cuanto regresaron, empezó la fiesta. Un grupo musical empezó a tocar calipso.
Mery se puso inmediatamente a bailar. Mery disfrutó mucho de aquellas fiestas de carnaval.
El miércoles, Carlos se vistió para ir a trabajar a la empresa ENSAL.
Mery, emocionada, le preguntó:
«¿Puedo acompañarte?»
«¡Por supuesto!»
Ella le acompañó, el Gerente, General se reunió con ella y ordenó a Carlos:
«Muéstrale a Mery, las instalaciones de esta empresa».
Recorrieron todas las instalaciones hasta llegar a la Laguna Madre De la Salina de Araya. Ella le pregunto:
"¿Como hacen en esta laguna para elaborar la sal para consumo humano?"- El contesto:
«Esta Laguna está clasificada en cuatro unidades, en la Unidad tres es donde se elabora la sal para consumo humano».
Ella se emociona mucho y dice:
«Voy a hablar con el Gerente, para que me acepte como pasante».
En cuanto vuelven a la empresa, le pide al director que la acepte como becaria. Le entregó una carta aceptándola como becaria. Al día siguiente, Mery regresó a Caracas y llevó la carta a la Universidad Central de Venezuela (U.C.V.).
A la semana siguiente regresó a la Península de Araya para realizar sus prácticas en ENSAL. El tiempo pasó como la velocidad de la luz, terminó sus pasantías en el tiempo previsto, las cuales fueron aprobadas en la U.C-V con una excelente calificación. Después de dos meses se fijó la fecha para su graduación, invitó a Carlos quien de inmediato se presentó, al terminar la ceremonia de graduación, la abrazó y muy cerca de su oído le dijo:
«Felicidades, benditas sean tus nalgas, gracias a ellas se activó tu celular y recuperé tu hermosa amistad»
.
Ella rió coquetamente: «Ja, ja».
