I was in Sicily someyears ago, but not in Catania. I was in Palermo and in the village of Corleone (if you watched The Godfather you watched Corleone ^^). I was there for 2 weeks with an Association against the Mafia. It was an interesting xperience, Sicily is really wonderful. Many beautiful ancient buildings and fantastic colors in the Nature, but there's a way to live very different from Tuscany. ^^
We don't say that word here in America... It's "The Italian-American Businessmen's Association." I picked Catania because I needed a military base for the story and there's a Naval Air Station nearby!
Really most of the real Mafia guys that aren't in prison or dead, are all into legitimate businesses now. Most of the organized crime here is from hispanics or Russians
This one is going to be in Sicily, down by Catania.

It's true? You don't say that word? Here we use it, but we use also many different words for it and now it's really different from the past ;)
