Actually, I don't see it as a B movie quality, as it's not bad at all.
It's peculiar and unique and unexpected (the opposite of B movies) here's just an example:
"To my delight, she returned to my arms once she had re-buttoned her dress. Somehow, holding her, I felt whole.
But I had to learn more about this hole that a Heffabee had left in her."
I think you're too harsh on yourself Tom, maybe it's a niche movie (in a sense that it doesn't recycle common plots) but many niche movies get called Cult movies when they're successful.
B movies generally stick with a mainstream narrative and style but with an inferior execution.

Nonfiction is easy for me. With fiction, I have no idea how bad or good it is; I only know what I like to read or write. If others actually enjoy it, that's a bonus. :)
