This is for all the artists, writers, thinkers and creators of Steemit:
Maybe I've spent way too many hours playing Call of Duty and watched one too many films, buy one of the most interesting areas for me to mentally explore is the multitude of 'what-if's' attached to a zombie outbreak/apocalypse scenario. Maybe it will never have even a remote possibility of occurring (maybe it will) but nevertheless its something I enjoy thinking and writing about.
Realistically, it is a great shtf scenario to prep for, as it assumes a complete breakdown of everything we rely on from electricity and computers to coffee shops and hot showers. The CDC themselves (talking about natural disasters) recommended that everyone should plan for it on the simple basis that if you are prepared for zombies then you can handle anything.
Creatively, the genre offers so many angles and areas to write about that its almost impossible to run out of ideas. The best of which center around those very parts of our daily lives and routines that we don't think twice about.
Philosophically and anthropologically, those what-if scenarios offer great depth of insight into our very morality and human nature.
Plus, let's face it, its zombies... Complete and total anarchy where all governmental and social structures need to be rebuilt from scratch!
So please spread and share this idea and help build a library of art, music, poerty and stories on this genre
