Dear followers,
I want to express my gratitude for your support with "The Tear Sees" account and take a moment to clarify its purpose.
"The Tear Sees" is no longer just about the short film of the same name; it will be the focal point of the entire ecosystem, where I will begin sharing a mix of updates, anecdotes, fictional stories, Unreal Engine renders, fictional news articles, art, videos, and other pieces from the world of The Tear, generated by myself, other collaborators and artificial intelligence.
As of now, consider this account as the premiere portal into the fictional universe itself.
The reason behind this decision is simple: I couldn't wait any longer for the completion of the short film to explore and expand The Tear's universe when we live in a world where it can happen now. I'm always working towards perfection, but maybe it's time to break things and experiment more to help bring awareness for the short film while building the world. Before, there were too many social accounts, too many directions and too many distractions. I've been building a digital infrastructure for The Tear, but with no content to fill it with. I've written a pilot, but that's the long game.
Time to be more practical.
I wanted to invite all of you to join me on this journey of discovery here first, and on Hive where we can delve into the depths of this cosmic horror world and see where it takes us. So if any of you also follow @thetearsees on Instagram, consider that a back up account and dead... until resurrection is required.
Not only will I share updates about the process of the film and universe more regularly, I now have a better process that will help me start building with more immediacy.
