Germany crashed out of the world cup in the group stages! Yes, you heard me right! This was a shocker to every football fan around the world. The defending champions, Germany went out of the world cup after losing 2-0 to Korea. That is very humiliating for the defending champs. The major part of the blame has to go to the German coach and his poor team selection. Even though Gomez and Hummels did miss their chance to seal a victory, they were still hugely flawed.
In other news Argentina made it into the next round. Messi finally scored a world cup goal and with that took the south American nation to the next round. This is by far the best world cup yet. If you aren't following it, I highly recommend you do!
