Good decision. It is popular enough as a challenge, you don't need SBD to get people to join in. Nice to mention a few of the outstanding ones though (us writers are very needy) ;)

Yes, I think writers do need tons of encouragement. It’s very hard to put your work out there! I think most of us vacillate between fear of exposure and pride of ownership. I do love to encourage and reward excellent efforts. I’m seeing a lot of great initiatives on Steemit now that are designed to help lift quality content above the junk posts, and I am thrilled to help in any way I can!
