Strange Healing

We find “Zolothach” Tabitha Osborne in her room in her apartment that she shares with Randy Angel. She is sitting lotus style in front of her window in a white nightgown.

Yes, it is the window that strange things come and go from.

Tabitha sits with her hands on her knees and her eyes closed. She has a neck brace on that holds her head in place from the damage that had been inflicted by Sam Sawyer at the show before last. She mumbles words that are only half heard in a language that was dead before the rise of mankind.

Her eyes snap open and she ceases the chanting once the light from the window changes to a sickly green and strange creatures are seen floating through the ether.

Tabitha Osborne: You think that you have me already defeated since you injured me. Don’t you, Sam Sawyer? I’ll speak directly to you since I won’t give your little mouth piece the time of day.

The window slowly slides open, a tentacle sliding in through the opening.

Tabitha Osborne: You think that since that you are a big, dumb brute that you will just roll over everyone and everything. I am here to tell you no. I am here to stop you in your tracks. I will be whole and healthy by the time that the bell is rung to start the match.

The tentacle glides along the wall and down to the floor, slowly making its way to Tabitha Osborne.

Tabitha Osborne: I am no mere worshiper of Great Cthulhu, Sam. You should know better than that. I am the High Priestess of Cthulhu. I am she who is the most favored of the followers of His infinite wisdom. I am she who is the first to get the blessings of the Great Old One.

The tentacle suddenly moves fast, wrapping itself around Tabitha’s form from the bottom to her neck. She smiles, though you can tell that she’s in pain. More pain than she was a few seconds ago as the tentacle begins to squeeze her tight.

Tabitha Osborne: My rise to power is soon. I think after you there is only one more person that I need to defeat to be able to go on to the Spark championship. Then, I can go on to the World title. Yes, I will be Queen of Fireside. The greatest champion of all time. It will show my family in the afterlife what a powerful wrestler that I have become even as they had tried in life to keep me down.

Tabitha hisses in sudden pain as the tentacle grows too tight for even her to bear. She lets out all of the air in her lungs with a sudden scream as her neck goes crack!

Randy Angel runs into the room, a worried look on his face.

Randy Angel: Zolo? Are you alright?

He watches as the tentacle slips off of Tabitha Osborne, tearing away the night gown as it does so and revealing torn flesh from barbed suction cups that quickly reseals itself for wicked scars. The neckbrace slips off and Tabitha looks like she’s going to fall backwards. Randy dives down to the floor and catches her before she hits the floor. She looks up at him with a smile as the last of her wounds heal up.

Tabitha Osborne: Thank you, Randy. You are a true friend.

Tabitha disengages from Randy and stands up, the last bits of her nightgown falling away to the floor to reveal her completely nude. The sickly green light from the window goes back to normal as the tentacle slips through it and is gone.

Tabitha Osborne: You face a renewed warrior-woman, Sam Sawyer. I will be keeping that Spark championship.

Tabitha yeeps as Randy puts a fresh nightgown over her head. She is quickly redressed and looking at the camera.

Tabitha Osborne: I will still be champion after our match is over, Sam. Get used to the idea.
