The Abandoned Theme Park In The Philippines (Fantasy World)

in #filipino-trail8 years ago (edited)

Big castle, Horses, fairy god mother, prince, princess... Ohh! those fantacies those fairy tales. This abandon park that looks awesome is located in philippines, i've been here long time ago that i cam't even remember when was it. But this park look really nice, but let me tell you what happened

Some Story Behind Fantasy World
It was constructed by a Japanese business man as an amusement, theme park, and water park similar to Disneyland but they make it uniquely Filipino style with condominiums inside. A japanese businessman who was forced to abandon construction when he ran into financial troubles.
This park was exclusive only for members which you have to pay 1000 Pesos or $20 for group of 10, you still have to pay the same amount even if you're alone. This park used to have rides, for adult and kids. If a new investor would manage the complex, it will surely be admired by tourist because of the magnificent view of Batangas and the Taal lake itself.

Here are some pictures

Looks really good for a abandoned theme park, some real parks here in Holland don't even look that good.

It's now taking care of home owners association now.

who pays the hoa?

awesome..... a must visit park

Right now? It's now a sad theme park

Fantasy World....I like these tree houses :)

Does this park have a name? I didn't see you mention it. Thanks for sharing!

It's on the title. Fantasy World

Ah sorry! That didn't register to me as the name, I thought it was more of a description, thanks!

What a major loss the the owner must have went through! That place looks expensive wow

That park looks insanely awesome! If you ever come to Italy there is an abandoned theme park called Greenland in Limbiate, a village near Milan =)

Awesome !

Cool! It doesn't look abandoned.

Great photos! I love exploring abandoned places, especially amusement parks. They have such an eerie vibe about them.

Hi @awesomenyl Im a Filipino too i-follow you can you follow me back as well? hehee great post btw

Funny thing is, I saw that when it was being constructed. Back when I lived in Baguio, and would frequently go to Batangas for summer. It's sad to think it never got finished coz of money problems. Hopefully someday the owner's going to find investors and finish the whole thing.
