If there is one aspect of art expression that should get more credit, I think, it’s Film posters.
Granted they life under the shadow of a bigger whale, the film itself. Even a couple decades ago when they used to be actual paintings painted by painters, not once I heard “This should be in a Museum”. Of course most of them shouldn't. A lot are just pure marketing objects and are mediocre pieces.
But I do believe they can be amazing works of art, combining pairing, photography and graphic design. And when they’re good they stand on their own as an individual pieces of Art, while keeping their “promotional” function.
So I have made a couple posters to share them with you.
(These ones should not be in a Museum hehehe, they where just fun to do.)
Hope you liked them.

I've never tried film posters, but I've definitely tried my hand at party flyers, which have a similar final element to them.

I will check your flyers out.
Thank you for the comment.
Thank you for drawing attention to it and I think you are right. Essentially, the film poster boosts marketing. A strong film poster can truly trigger a desire to go see that film. I mean, I have selected movies to watch on Netflix, solely based on the cover looked cool.
Exactly!
