Hi man... I like your review of the movie and I think its a fair one... but:
Hulk did get introduced in the Marvel Universe and, yeah, I know it wasn't a 'proper' introduction, especially with the change of actor from Norton to Ruffalo, but still it was a some kind of introduction and at the end of it there was one of the first post credits scenes that started the whole Avengers tease.
I also think the final battle scene wasn't that bad. Of course it could've been better, but despite from CGI lackings, I think it was well-orchestrated action scene.
Besides that... Good review
Actually, the first Hulk was Eric Bana in Ang Lee's failed 2003 film. But that, and Incredible Hulk with Norton, are usually not considered to be part of Marvel Cinematic Universe.
