This is the beauty I'll use for my next project. Just getting everything
ready to hit the road, 3 weeks, Sicily and back on small roads.
This camera underwent thorough modifications and testing.
Now I can say it's not only a beauty, but it works 100%
(getting it 110% light tight was a challenge).
The Schneider-Kreuznach Symmar 210mm is just the lens to go with it!
Nagaoka, named after a city in Japan, built one of the most versatile
and lightweight field cameras. Unfortunately nowadays they
are almost impossible to find; I am really lucky to own one!
Wow!
Enjoy the trip and the Italian food!

Yes, I'll make sure I will!
Wow, she's an oldie but a goodie, nice one.
It's nice to work with beautiful tools ;)
Oh Yes! What a beautiful weapon! And the Symmar is a fantastic lens!
Yeah the Symmar just happened to me; usually I like the not-so-strict japanese lenses, but I'll give the german rigidness a try ;)
Love the green baffles! Now I want new ones. Think they make that color in fabric for wide-angle?
I actually took it off an Intrepid 4x5; not big fan of their cameras, but the baffles rock...

You picked the best one. Thanks for that link!
Oh! My cats! This is simply stunning to see an old fashion camera in perfect condition! Three weeks in Sicily! What an adventure in photography!
In stead on bringing the canvass and oil paints and brushes, you carry your baby camera around!
Have a wonderful time!
Your life journey is beyond my imagination.
