Honeymoon effect or whatnot

Disclaimer, I really like this picture. I must admit it's quite dull though. I'm probably just impressed with PanF, some kind of honeymoon effect or whatnot.

Hey, that just sound like a fancy title, let's use it!

Ilford Pan F Plus 50 | Fuji GS645S | 60mm

Sort:

lovely tones :)

Thank you!

This is really nice, might get some Pan F soon after seeing this. My local photo store has a bunch of expired ilford for 2.50eur.

Thanks! I would indeed highly recommend giving it a try. 2.5eur a roll seems real cheap, expired or not.

Picked some up, expired 2007. Now just to wait for a sunny day. I've heard that Pan F doesn't retain it's images very long so you should expose it and develop it quickly. Have you found this?

It's quite contrasty, so I think it's also probably a good fit for overcast days. There was probably only a few days between my first exposure and development, so I did not observe any issue. Yours being expired you might want to be a bit careful, idk. Enjoy!

Great photo sir! Love your style so much. The b&w is just perfect, and those lines, pure gold!

Man, thank you so much. I'm glad you like it.

i think the sensation of motion created by all those parallel lines and the cyclists give a special feeling to the photo...or is just the Pan F Plus? :-)

Hehe, I would say the later ;) but you're right, the random dude on the bicycle probably helps the photograph (thank you, random dude). To be honest this street was quite empty and I was about to take the shot as it is, but he showed up so I thought why not.
