James McAvoy-One of the most versatile actors. His track record includes a number of roles balancing from one extreme to another. He played crazy, and killers, and drug addicts, and spies, and romantic guys who are so fond of girls. But let's remember why we really fell in love with this simple Scottish guy. It is for the role that is not destined to take any other average actor.
Let`s go! Today we will tell about the five wildest roles and the heroes of James MacAvoy, repulsed on the whole head, in whose skin he looks ugly and convincingly.
Especially dangerous
The story of the loser and bore clerk named Wesley Gibson, whom there is no patience to endure in a decent society. At work they are humiliated, the girlfriend is cheating, and he himself knows perfectly well that he is still a little coward and a little hlyupik, but he cannot do anything about it. But one day something happens and Wesley Gibson is caught up in a secret society of killers, whose training is taken by an experienced and beautiful mentor Fox (Angelina Jolie).
So from the whiner Wesley Gibson turns into a hard and decisive killer. He becomes the most terrible bastard, who only saw his city.
Dirt
The plot revolves around a kind of Scottish policeman Bruce Robetson, but he doesn’t really like the guard of order. It is much more pleasant to take bribes, stop colleagues from doing business, indulge in all sorts of substances and spend time with women. But no one has canceled ambitions and an irresistible desire to advance in the service, so Bruce Robertson is set to get a new status as a police inspector, because the higher the flight, the more fun and personal gain.
It remains only to solve the case of aggravated murder and enjoy the promotion. However, all this savagery does not end with a straight rush, but with something else, completely unexpected.
Split
This picture can be called the mono-play by James McAvoy, where he plays not one, but as many as eight roles. We are talking about his hero Kevin, who suffers from a rather strange and unexplored mental illness - 24 personalities live in his mind at once, and they always appear as suddenly as they disappear. Throughout the film, we can observe a 9-year-old scared boy, and a strict woman, and a socially unbalanced maniac. But not all individuals are ready to immediately show themselves to the world and show the evil that is hidden in the depths of their consciousness.
Blasting blonde
Criminal fighter telling the story of Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron) - a spy and secret agent of British intelligence, who is sent to Berlin to get the most important and valuable file that turned out to be not the most honest way. Her operation partner will be undercover agent David Percival (James McAvoy), who plays his games that do not bode well.
Glass
Sci-fi about strange superheroes, which will be released on large screens on January 17, 2019. According to director M. Night Shyamalan (M. Night Shyamalan), he will connect two universes of his previous works - Split (2016) and Invulnerable (2000). In Glass, he expands Kevin's story from the movie Split and adds characters from the film Invulnerable to him: superman-telepath David Dunn, who works as a simple security guard, and another maniac and invalid, Mr. Glass, who is obsessed with the advent of the superhero-messiah .
An interesting crossover will be released. Especially in the "Glass" will play all the original characters of previous stories: James McAvoy as Kevin-split, Bruce Willis as David Dunn and insane Samuel L. Jackson as Mr. Glass.
And what are your favorite non-standard roles of James McAvoy?

I love James and naturally his performances in Split and Glass are stand out but I think he was brilliant as proffesor X in Xmen and in the last King of Scotland, but one of my all time favourites has to be Victor Frankenstein, his so versatile and I feel his greatly underrated

I like movies... but I am an absolute zero at memorising actors' names. Actresses, I can remember easier. But actors, it's a struggle. I never remember their names.
Great article, sir! Very interesting and original!

I think that I only know one of his movie😊 the especially dangerous😊 I haven't put too much attention on the actor because I'm focusing on the story plots. But thanks for the wrap up @justlook, maybe I should take a look on other James McAvoy movies next time.

HI @justlook. Great write up on these movies and James McAvoy. I think he's highly underrated and needs more attention. I am definitely going to check out Split and Dirt. I know this is a more mainstream movie since it won awards. He was incredible in Atonement and Becoming Jane.
