Why Do We Accept Man-Made Inflation? It's An Impressive Deception

The elites control your money and want to make you poor.

Given the hyperinflationary times we have lived through recently the one positive thing to come out of the wholly perverse phenomena known as inflation is the fact that people are now more conscious of it. That might not seem like a profoundly positive development but it is.

I have never understood the acceptance of inflation. Even as a child I remember questioning my parents as to why the cost of things have to increase year on year. I also remember receiving a classic boomer response to my questioning which was something along the lines of 'it's just the way it is and there's nothing anyone can do about it'. I suppose if you are part of the richest generation the world has ever known you are afforded an egregiously lazy and cowardly response as that.

However, even those boomers who are now in their 60's and 70's surely must realise something is up. Surely they must realise they've been had. My questioning of this bizarre thing called inflation has continued to this day and while I am no economist I can always smell bullshit. And there is plenty of bullshit explanatories around when it comes to inflation.

Our politicians, bankers and captains of industry tell us that inflation is unavoidable as the costs of raw materials to produce goods rise each year. They tell us other things like as an economy expands consumers spend more money on goods and services and therefore as a consequence demand outstrips supply so suppliers are forced to up their prices which adds to the general inflation within the economy. They say things like imported goods are being priced up more by exporters and those costs have to be passed on. I have heard so much bullshit to justify the unjustifiable I can not tell you.

So why do those raw materials go up each year? Who's putting the prices up? Ah yes that's right humans are. And hang on a moment if inflation within the economy is going up so are the price of goods and services therefore consumers have less purchasing power. Therein is yet another contradiction. If exporters are pushing up prices then they can push them back down again so shut-up. Of course they won't do that because they want more money. And I'm not talking about tariffs.

The constantly changing demand for goods, services and labour is one of the principal reasons for inflation we're told. Yes of course there is a continuing change in demand no one would question that, but it does not justify constant price increases and never a single decrease in price. Have you ever questioned why we never see price decreases only increases? I call that out as more economic deception by the Masters of the Dark Arts.

Bring in central banks to the equation and things get even more sinister. In my country the Bank of England has responsibility for controlling inflation. It aims to keep inflation at no more than 2%, a figure set by the government. So why 2%? Why not 0.2%? Why does it have to go up at all? The only answer of course is that they want more money from us.

There is an argument that some inflation is good for an economy. Some believe it even helps to sustain a healthy economy. This whole thing about 2% which many countries adopt as their target inflation figure is utter bullshit. It's all part of the deception. And the deception is a programme of wealth reduction to ensure that the elites take as much money from everyone as they possibly can.

Why do we accept this abnormal and avoidable situation? It completely erodes our quality of life. Ask around and you'll get no logical answers just an avalanche of economist rhetoric which translates into that word again - bullshit.

Peace!

Yes, absolutely true - if you have brainwashed entire nations those people will have no interest in self learning, independent thinking or a desire for the truth.

Books become irrelevant, sadly. It is a tragedy really. So many wise and thoughtful people tried to warn us, it's there in black and white but those powerful words now lack interested eyes.

I appreciate the sources, they will be added to a unique library, thank you sir.

Greetings @peaceandmoney ,

Thank you for this well written post regarding inflation.

I have always considered inflation a real tell of how worthless our currency is...to be sure it is more complicated than that as you have expressed here.

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Thank you @bleujay I'm pleased you got some value out of the post. National currencies gives us convenience other than that the debt fiat system enslaves us all.

Always a pleasure to see you visit my blog.
