RE: Finish The Story - Week #53 - Winners!!

@theironfelix: I highlighted one sentence when I read your piece, but wasn't sure I should address that. But I will now.

First of all, holistically, your piece employs acoustics dramatically and effectively. The visuals were also striking, but I think the acoustics always set your pieces apart.

The sentence that struck me:

I am not a sir, I do not understand the infatuation to think or to proceed all mysterious people with a male pronoun.

Can I tell you the number of times in my life when I've objected to that pronoun? Not because I'm transgender, but because I refuse to be pigeon-holed by gender identification. And I don't get why the default gender is male. It used to be infuriating when I was young and had more energy (🙂). Now it's just objectionable. I think gender is individual and personal. Nobody should make assumptions about anybody else based on gender.

So there's the comment I held back. You asked for it :)

Whatever you do in your absence from Steemit, I wish you happiness and peace.

UwU ~ Thanks for reading and thanks for the compliments + analysis + not holding back now!!!!~

I love the acoustic immersion work, it’s one of the few things I barely saw on Steemit but a whole lot with the authors I cared to read. So I decided to rekindle the acoustic tradition, whether it picks up steam (pun intended) or not will matter to the future if people want better chances of winning by standing out and exploring paths untread.

Non-binary people are very real people, I do suggest looking into them because they have the same complaint ad you do. (Funny thing you mention Transgender, because Non-binary falls under the Trans Umbrella - but it’s a bit screwy the history and how trends/demographics are formulated.)

I want the future of gender to be completely irrelevant (qua non-political and only personal), but we have to fight in whatever way we can for such. As we both know gender is still mediated in a heteronormative way and still used for Patriarchal means, so we have a long ways away to deestablish the politics of gender as it stands today.

I wish there were more people like you and @brisby in this community :D

And to you as well!!!!~ <<<<3333!!!!~
