DCC Establishes Strategic Partnership with SenseTime

On August 24, DCC established a strategic partnership with SenseTime, a leading artificial intelligence company with specialization in facial recognition. This partnership will enable us to improve the anti-fraud solutions on the DCC platform, making financial data more reliable. Moving forward, SenseTime will provide facial recognition support for DCC’s partnering companies in Vietnam, assisting with the development of a stronger credit system.

DCC Establishes Strategic Partnership with ZPER

On August 20, DCC established a strategic partnership with ZPER, a Korean blockchain project supporting P2P financial services. Currently, the ZPER Alliance ecosystem includes 17 top-tier P2P financial service providers from Korea, which in total have issued loans of nearly 700 billion KRW.

DCC will work with ZPER on DApp development, country-specific customization, and business development. We’ll also share technologies and data to create a more inclusive global financial system.

DCC Around the World — New York, Seoul and Hanoi

China Blockchain Application Center (CBAC) Exclusive Launch Event
On Aug. 23, DCC announced the grand opening of CBAC’s New York branch with an exclusive launch event in the Bay Room in NYC’s iconic financial district — the first-ever dedicated event space from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group. Over 100 guests gathered to celebrate the opening of the CBAC NYC branch, converge the U.S. and Chinese blockchain communities and foster global collaboration. For more details, please click here.

DCC Attends BlockFesta 2018 in Seoul

On August 22 and 23, the DCC team attended BlockFesta 2018 in Seoul, Korea. Hosted by BLOCKmedia and Korea Blockchain Industry Promotion Association, this global conference included distinguished including the mayor of Seoul and influential figures in the blockchain industry such as Roger Ver, founder of bitcoin.com.

Following the event, Bitboy Sesibon (쎄시봉), a leading blockchain influencer in Korea, interviewed Stewie live in his studio. They discussed DCC’s business model, strategies, team members and recent highlights.

DCC Hosts Vietnamese Distributed Credit Ecology Application Media Meeting and Signing Ceremony

On August 24, DCC hosted the “Vietnamese Distributed Credit Ecology Application Media Meeting and Signing Ceremony of the DCC Vietnam Distributed Credit Ecology Cooperation” in Hanoi. DCC plans to promote a fissile ecological incubation strategy to facilitate distributed credit in the Southeast Asian region.

Attendees of this meeting included Masada, a Vietnam-based fintech company, SenseTime, an artificial intelligence platform, Doco, an Vietnamese Internet software company, Nganluong, a third-party payment company, Vaymuon, a credit service provider, and other well-known institutions as well as enterprises in the local fintech industry. Over 20 well-known local media outlets also attended the event.

According to Cipher Tang, CTO of DCC, DCC will take the lead in promoting the “fissive ecological incubation” strategy in Southeast Asia. The first phase will focus on enterprise-level cooperation for two types of B-end users, traditional financial institutions like banks and Internet platforms.

In order to prepare for the pre-market and technology research for the application of blockchain financial products in Vietnam, the DCC team communicated with a number of risk control authorities about Vietnam’s risk processes, risk-control fields, loan interest rates, details of the collaboration, as well as the development status and prospects of mobile payment in Vietnam. These included the Risk Control Officer at VPBank, Department of Technology at Vietnam National Credit Information Center (CIC) and Ngan Luong Internet Technology Company.

DCC Cares — Our Volunteer Program in Vietnam

On August 25, Cipher Tang, our CTO, together, along with staff members in our Hanoi office and volunteers from DCC’s Vietnamese community, visited local orphanages and brought food to children in need. Moving forward, we’ll recruit more volunteers to serve orphanages and nursing homes across Vietnam.

Cipher Hosted Live AMA Session in Vietnamese Community

On August 24, Cipher Tang and the customer service team in the Hanoi office hosted a live AMA session in our Vietnamese community. Cipher answered questions about tech details of the DCC platforms and BitExpress, as well as DCC’s plans in Vietnam. We’d like to thank all the participants who joined us in this session, and we look forward to the next one.

DCC Talks with Block360.pro

Tech Developments

BitExpress:

We’ve fixed several bugs in the contract for the IPFS-based personal data management framework, which will be available to the public in the next update.

The cryptocurrency deposit function will be available in this week’s update.

We’re working to improve the verification function to facilitate the submission of user information.

The DCC Platform:

Our tech team has visited several P2P financial service providers in Vietnam. We’ve also started to work with several local data service providers to help our partnering companies improve their credit services.

By the end of September, four additional SDKs (two for the Chinese market and two for the Indonesian market) for credit data verification will be available on the DCC Open Platform. We plan to add more SDKs for China, Vietnam and Indonesia by the end of October.
