Your Next Fishing Destination

If your reading this we can agree we love to fish.

Its not always about the catch but sometimes we fishermen/women just need that nonstop action of having fish on ; we want those sore hands after a day of battling fish after fish, and we crave that deep sleep after an epic day of fishing you cannot replicate.

Being an avid outdoorsmen and living in Los Angeles has its challenges as you can see the differences in lifestyles (generalities). Traveling near and far to new places has been my saving grace and along the way Ive found some really awesome spots and fisheries.

Cedros Island is one of these gems. Halfway down the Baja peninsula ; ive included photos you can see how to terrain bends the water... i.e directs fish to (Cedros). * this is really important* Cedros Island's location is really the first and only pit stop for all fish migrating with the warm water. Fish leaving want to stock up (eat) Fish arriving are hungry from traveling and want to eat. sold?

World Record fish reside here....easiest way of putting it ; furthermore most of these ancient monsters have never seen a jig bait or any kind of lure before. any further research and you'll agree this place is a honey hole. Yellowtail, Yellow-fin, White-Seabass, Black Seabass, Broom-tail grouper, painted grouper...everything else

you have to charter a flight out of San Diego but the two hotels on island offer packages that include flight and stay...its as easy as showing up for flight since the hotel takes care of everything else and caters to keeping you in the thick of fishing. epic.

Sold! The place sounds amazing. It makes sense that the fish would naturally pass through there. It looks like it's part of México so travellers from the U.S. need a passport?

yes its Mexico's Island Passport required.

Also makes black sea-bass legal....if your into that ;)
