We took advantage of this sunny Wednesday to put the rods on the side of Ghar El Mleh. For this quick little session we will have on the menu, trawl, sand worms, hard, shelled knives and some crabs caught at the fishing place.
Beginning of the game 6am, first cane launched red hard, and bim, it hits! Small marble of about 200gr, the day starts well for my friend.
I take my time, I set up a crab trap to try to catch sand crabs. For this session I use classic sliding assemblies: olive of 50gr, swivel pearl and leader in 0.28 on hook of 4 and 2, and a rod with a mounting with slide in 60gr.
The sea is calm, there is little wind and a pretty sun rises. How beautiful it is to be at the water's edge (promised next time I take my camera).
Around 10am after releasing a few small fish that will grow, my friend calls me because his rod gives him great sensations. Yeaah it s a ray torpedo wah it's pretty like fish, we thought it was a turbot at the start about 600gr. My colleague is hot me my sandworms are not attacked and my trawl also when suddenly my rod tap shoeing is not bad, small fight and bim a sea bream which will weigh 300gr.
At 2 p.m. nothing more, the baits are not tasted, the sun is strong so we put away.
