We had a good catch tonight at the sea fish market at the Marve beach. The beach is near to my place and a good place to catch fresh sea fish.
We bought prawns too, but cook it on some other day.
Today we are making Bangda Masala ( Mackarel Masala)
The spices used are commonly used in India.
Wash and Clean the mackerel well and sprinkle salt first.
Then add red chilies powder, Kashmiri chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and a pinch of cumin powder as well.
Just mix it and keep them for an hour.
Take a pan. Add oil ( we use sunflower oil). You can put Olive oil. Heat it for a while it is very hot.
Just shallow fry them. If the skin doesn't stick to the pan, flip to fry the other side.
That's it Mackarel Masala (spicy) is done, (oops ..One is overcooked)
Put a dash of lemon juice and you can have it with a beer.
Cheers
