Davina McCall may have the six pack that we all want - but even she allows herself a rest day sometimes.

The TV presenter, 50, posted that Thursday was her “rest day” to Instagram stories as she relaxed in a bubble bath, looking more than happy to be there.

Davina’s a big fan of the gym and is open about the fact that exercise is her favourite way to keep both her mind and body healthy, and has been hitting it hard since Christmas came to end.

She’s been busy posting Lycra-clad photos in the gym to Instagram as she promotes her new exercise DVD - and was back in there on December 29, when most of us are still vegetating on the sofa.

So it’s definitely time that Davina gave herself some time off.

Davina recently revealed that she's lost a stone in the last year in a chat with new! magazine.

She said: “I’m around 9st 10lbs and I’m in size 10 clothes, which is a size smaller than I was in last year, so it’s great. I’m really, really happy.

“I don’t want to lose any more weight now, though. This is exactly where I want to be.

“I make a point of not weighing myself all the time because I don’t think it’s healthy, but I think you know when you feel right.”

But mum of three, who recently announced she had split with her husband of 17 years Matthew Robertson, also revealed she misses her curvier self.

After being tagged in a throwback snap of her presenting Don't Try This At Home in the 90s, Davina couldn't help but comment on the noticeable change in her figure.

"What happened to my boobs? Where did they go?" she tweeted.

Davina then joked she thought the answer might be down the fact she's had three children since the pic was taken.

Davina shares Holly, 16, Tilly, 14, and Chester, 11 with Matthew Robertson - who she announced a split from in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

In a statement released in November Davina told her fans: "I am very sad to say that Matthew and I have separated.

"Our amazing children are our number one priority, above everything else so therefore we ask for as much space and respect from the media as possible while our family goes through this difficult time."
