335 pound deadlift!

in #fitness7 years ago

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to share with you a video of my latest adventure in the weight room:

I’m trying to work my way up to 405 and the crazy thing is, I rarely deadlift. I practice 10 minutes of crawling each day combined with various calisthenic and kettlebell exercises.

Remember, if you want to achieve your goals, you don’t need much money at all! Just some open space, your body, some kettlebells or other random heavy objects, and some motivation!

Cheers everyone! Please upvote, resteem, comment or whatever to engage in health and fitness discussion. I’m hoping to create more conversation and share ideas with others on steemit.

Thanks again for watching!

Very good form! You'll get to 405 in no time. How long have you been lifting for? You look like a big guy who has been in a the gym for a while. I'm slowly working my way up to 405 as well.

Thanks for the upvote @blam. I've been lifting for a long time but it wasn't until recently that I've done a lot more body weight/calisthenic movements. By doing this, I feel much stronger when I do decide to do bar lifts such as dead lift, squats, bench press and military press. I can show you the crawling tutorial from a good friend of mine that will make you strong as hell. You'll be up to 405 in no time as well!

That's awesome, bodyweight/calisthenic movements really do build a strong base for main lifts. Yeah for sure man, always looking to improve numbers in the gym! Keep up the good work!

Lol thanks, I credit all of the craft beer that I drink. It’s good carbs, right?
