It s very difficult after the big 40 to loose weight. The metabolism just isn't what it used to be. Do not look at the scales at all for at least 3 months . It will be difficult but the rewards are worth it. You may want to try Ashtanga yoga . It is intensely physical but it is all poses. You can do it in the comfort of your own home. Also look into Green coffee bean extract to kickstart your metabolism and curb your appetite.
I am confident you will do fine .
