When I started working out I never thought I would even consider going to the gym twice in a day. And for a long time it didn't come up to me to go to the gym twice on a day. But now I think the idea isn't that crazy. When you don't have much time the other days of the week but you do have much time and one day why shouldn't you go twice that day? If you feel like it and your body can handle it I'd say go for it.
