Where did the weight loss updates go?

in #fitness7 years ago

I haven't been purposely avoiding them. I have just had other things to post, and to be honest, they were starting to get a bit repetitive.

So how is it going?
Excellent! I have now lost 6.4 kg (109.8 down to 103.4) in 7 weeks. This is actually slightly better than the macro/calorie targets which were a very conservative 0.5kg per week loss target. I picked this because powerlifting is still the primary goal and I wanted to limit any muscle and strength loss while in calorie deficit. Although I haven't got around to doing a proper body composition scan my measurements and strength benchmarks in the gym are showing that most of the weight is coming off the waist and I am still making small strength gains. I'm also having to add weight to my chinups and dips because they are getting too easy 😃. The little bit of extra conditioning work that I have been doing has also turned into noticeable improvements when doing anything that would normally get me breathing heavy.

I think when you are over 100kg body weight it can be hard to lose just 0,5 kg weekly when your training and diet is on point. You got strenght while cutting so its everything okay, enjoy procces and keep going!

Thanks. I have been really pleased with the results so far. Prior to this I wasn't calorie tracking. It has made all the difference and I can see myself continuing to do it beyond whatever weight goals I hit.

Keep going ahead my friend. Getting excercise I think is one of the best lifestyle we got. From my opinion it got us actives in all our senses and our own rutine. Just remember "A healthy body is a healty mind"
