A week of traveling and vacation played havok with my workout schedule. I did manage to get in one workout, so it wasn't a total lack of effort, but it feels good to be able to get "back" into my routine. ;)

It rained all day, I didn't get much walking in, my knees were complaining, and I ate a bunch of junk today. So, rather than do Leg Day as scheduled, I opted to start the cycle over again and hit back today.
It was a good session overall, and my strength even improved a bit from the time off. In hindsight, the week off may have been a good thing - allowing my bod to fully recover from the previous weeks' efforts and come back at it refreshed and renewed.
I definitely did not keep to my macros during vacation or even today, and my weight gain reflects it. It'll be interesting to see what, if any, changes my body has undergone in a month when I do the 3d scan again in two weeks. My hope is that I will have gained some muscle and size in the right places and hopefully drop a percent or so in bodyfat. I certainly have not been doing enough HIIT or cardio or eaten correctly to lose much (any?) fat, but my pants still fit looser than they did a few weeks ago, so maybe there has been some progress. We shall see...
