What are the top benefits of exercise?

Working out or just exercising gives a lot of benefits to our body and mind. I would like to share my top 5 benefits of exercise.

Most of us might be too focused on earning in Steemit or working in the office. We forget that “Health is Wealth”. Our health will suffer if we don’t take care of it and the earnings we accumulated through working will just be paid for hospital bills.

If you have a New Year’s resolution of being fit or losing weight. Please continue there’s a lot of benefits from it.

  1. Boost Happiness - you might already felt it while working out in the morning. You feel great the entire day that’s because our body releases Endorphins, a chemical in our body that also trigger happiness.
  2. Increased Strength and Flexibility - can’t bend anymore or can’t reach your feet? You need to start stretching those muscles to be able to reach it again. Lifting barbells and dumbbells will improve your strength. Easier to lift those shopping bags.
  3. Improved Self-confidence - accomplishing your tasks and reaching your goal will give you an incredible self-boost. Causing you to be addicted to get fit or even lose weight.
  4. Increased Work Performance - boosting mental and physical health will definitely result in a better version of you. Spreading positive energy even to your work/office. It will make you perform better at work even help colleagues as well.
  5. Lose weight - everyone’s favorite benefit. Being able to lose a lot of weight will make you very proud of yourself.
  6. Live longer - top of it all is living longer. Being present at the family party or events is not enough but being healthy can make you be more active in every gathering.
