So I have a love/hate relationship with doing barbell squats. Some days go extremely well other days are painful and my mechanics just aren't where I want them to be. I tend to squat twice a week to modify form corrections and just to keep my lower body strong.
Hip flexibility and Ankle mobility are a constant struggle and I often find myself stretching longer or spending a bit more time on foam roller. Through the struggle there is always beauty in the process and the goal is always to be better. . .
I love squats! I try to do them almost every session, although only going heavy once a week.
That's a nice amount of weight on the bar though!
