How much time are you willing to sacrifice to get fit, healthy, lean, or more energetic? Even the busiest person can squeeze in 15 minutes somewhere, and if you train smart, that’s all you need.
A study followed a group of healthy men and women for 6 weeks. Every day, they performed the same 7 minute workout, with exercises they could do in the comfort of their home. Without any dietary changes, they lost 2kg of body fat and 3cm off their waists. Read more here.
So, here’s my challenge to you: For the next 6 weeks, try out my daily bodyweight workouts. You'll need 7-15 minutes, and sometimes, a chair. Yes, they will push you. Yes, you'll need grit. But if you want results from a short workout, you need to work for them.
I find these workouts are a great way to wake my body up in the morning, but you can do them whenever you have time, even in front of the TV.
To kick off day one, we'll use the workout from the study:
Do each exercise for 30 seconds, then move straight to the next one. For the side plank, do 30 seconds on each side. If you finish the circuit and still have more time or energy to burn, go for another 1-2 rounds. Good luck! 💪
How did you do? If you enjoyed that, make sure to follow me for a new workout each and every day. ✌️
