So, in my line of work i see alot of peope trying to get healthy, fit and feel better. Our average age is around 50 years old. We also have some people who are older then that. In their 70's and even 80's
When they get older they notice that everything isnt going as smooth as they are used to. So usually they have some issues, come to one of our physical therapist, they treat them and then they get advice to start training.
99.9% cant believe whats happening when they start working out! They veel so much better its crazy!
There are also people who have been working out or doing sports all there lifes and they start doing fitness because it's less damaging on their body like tennis. Usually they are somewhere in between their 60's or 70's.
But yesterday, i got a man who wanted to start working out. He never trained in his LIFE! and wanted to better is physical condition. This man was 81 years old and signed up to go to the gym! :D
How F-ing great is that?! 81 years old and thinking. I want to better myself.
Instead of sitting on his ass, still finding the motivation to get up and do something!

Now, dont get me wrong. Its better not to wait till you are 80. I think EVERYONE should start working out at least twice a week. Doesnt matter if you are 14 of 38. Everything you do NOW will help you feel better and be healthier 10 years in the future.
Science have shown that when people who start working out in their 40's are 8 times as healthy 15 years later and have 3 times less risk of dying by health related issues then a person who doesnt work out.

Moral of the story. Start working out and TRUST ME, you will feel better. Doesnt matter what age you are! Get up! Get Moving! Better yourself, and feel better!
