Fitness is important for any age. Most of the time I do it at home by myself, but there are periods when I like to join classes also, especially when I need a push to do it. At home the intensity is not the same, because if I feel very tired then I stop it, but in a class it is not like that, I have to do it whatever the instructor says. Regular fitness needs a lot of discipline and I can say to an extent 80-90% I have that in me and I am self motivated. On certain days I get lethargic, there is a fitness center near my home, so I join there for a couple of sessions. They have a package of 8 sessions which I need to complete in a month's time. I am regular, so my 8 sessions normally get over in 2 weeks itself and then again I am back with my motivation.
I like the instructor of this class, she is very pushy and never settles for less. Everyday the focus is on different areas, like core and strength building, flexibility and all. Last evening it was about the core strengthening, so we did a lot of plank positions in different ways, in 45 mins I was exhausted and needed a break, which was not given....hehe, but then she agreed to go into some lighter forms. I enjoy doing the flexibility exercises and yoga asanas, because they do not take much of strength and my body is good enough flexible, so it gets easy for me.
Does this look easy or difficult to you, well it's not that easy. I could see other people struggling to do it. I could do it good because of my upper body flexibility.
This last plank position I was not able to hold it for even half a minute. When we started we could do it for 2 minutes but then as the class progressed, the time kept getting lesser and I was losing my balance, which just shows that I still need to work on my core and even the strength in my wrist and arms.
After regular work outs also there are certain things which are not up to the mark. This class helps me a lot to improve. When I will complete my 8 sessions then I will take a break from them and keep practicing at home.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

keeping yourself in good shape
The position looks difficult, I don't think I can do it
Especially when starting out or just beginning a new series of exercises, it's better to work with a group to get the basics right on top of being challenged and finding the discipline to keep going when it starts getting tough. For me, achieving flexibility/agility is one of my top priorities with fitness training.
