Back with a bang
It has been weeks since I last posted about this challenge, last Friday and this weekend I went back home in the province, for a much needed break from the city life. With that in place I was out of action from steemit, and the challenge for last 3 days. Also it has been 2 weeks since my last run, hopefully this weekend I can now once again do my weekend runs. Today has been good progress for the 10k steps challenge clearly surpassing the 10k mark and nearly doubling it.
#10,000 Steps Challenge
Today I was able to walk 19023 steps, covering a distance of 14KM, while burning 747kcal, and lastly achieving 190% of the 10,000 steps goal. That is excellent progress for today, coming up with that number of steps the quality/rating for today is excellent. It was good to get back in to the challenge and make up for the lost progress these last 3 days.
Weight Challenge
Just this morning I weighed in at 160 lbs, that was surprising because I had no exercise for 2 weeks on the weekends. But hey maybe it was the Intermittent Fasting that I was doing. 1 lbs at a time I will reach my weight goal.
Run Tracking
My run stats is still the same for the past 2 weeks, hopefully by the weekend I can manage to run.
This then brings the total stats of my 4 runs to 28.85km, 2118 calories burned, then the 4 runs lasting for 5 hours and 42 minutes.
Thank you very much, catch the next update again tomorrow!
Wow! nearly 20k steps today? how did you do it? Nice comeback by the way Forrest Gump :P
LOL! it was because I had to go to some places today which were very far and had to go to the mall to canvas on something.
nice @vallesleoruther! i would like to know how often do you perform intermittent fasting? i would also like to do some of these walking exercises but unfortunately my current lifestyle is taking a toll on me on that one (i'm currently a night shift programmer)
do you recommend if i do only walking and what app is good for monitoring your steps?
Well I do intermittent fasting, I only eat in an 8 hour interval. I prefer eating at lunch 12PM and dinner as long as it does not go past 8PM. I have been doing it for a month now I lost 2 lbs already along with jogging on the weekends. We have the same job also a Web Developer but day shift haha. So 16 hours no eating just drinking water.
Well for starters walking would be great, before I used to always ride a tricycle going home but now I walk home it takes 1,000 - 2,000 steps from where I get off from work. I bought a fitness band(Atmos fit) from kimstore only 750 I think that time last year. It has a pedometer, and coupled with the Atmos Fit application that is how I track my progress. It has also other great functionalities, bang for the buck 750 pesos only.
Have a good progress dear friend @vallesleoruther. Just keep up your fitness job.
Thanks @msena
Good job, keep up the work, i hope you reach your goal.
Thank you hope I reach it.
Keep up.19023 steps in one day is really a Good achievement dear friend @vallesleoruther.
Yes I think it has been the most steps I did when I started tracking, thanks.
