They are flat maps, not globes. While it's sometimes useful to use projection maps for illustrative purposes, using a flat map to portray what occurs on a globe is neither correct, nor intellectually honest.

LOL. That was your ridiculous conclusion from that interchange? Confirm your bias and deny reality much? PLEASE go take a course in logic and reason, and actually do some scientific inquiry. You have obviously done zero. How you can even have an OPINION on the shape of the earth is beyond reason.
We all have a unique path to go shifting through realities every moment possible and I believe that possibilities are endless. As far as we know we could all be dead, living in purgatory, same day all over again.
