I have flown a lot in my life and now am waking up to quite a few seemingly fake things about air travel. I will not spam your post, but you might want to look on my feed for my recent jet plane post. Apparently - they are not using jet fuel to fly.

I have also seen a few yt videos where people take altimeters on their flights. They are showing maybe 8000 feet elevation while the pilot says 30000 in the background.

well they are using 10% of what they claim, is what I've heard. there is definitely no way all that fuel that say is actually stored in the wings.

I so agree. It is not possible when you look into it even briefly :)

lol, the highest rated reply ignores the distance question, the next one claims the difference is nominal at 0.28% ...

...which is pretty close to the actual 0.21% difference in distance if the jet was flying at 45,000 feet.

Why would you need 4 times the flight time for a negligible increase in distance?
