My wife heard me from the kitchen saying "hell yeah" she asked me what I was going on and I said that I had just seen a trailer for a movie remake that I thought would be a great remake of the original. She has never seen Flatliners before. I said who was in it and now she wants to watch it.
Should she wait to watch the new one first because from the looks of the trailer it should be "better" than the original in my opinion, it seems like the perfect movie to remake with today's technology. She wants to watch the old one but does not know if she should wait either.
What do you guys think she should do? Also what are your thoughts on the original?

Let's put it this way...if The Big Lebowski had a remake with different cast. Which would you choose to watch first...same with any movie remake...in the end the choice is yours and one spoils the other...imo. Good luck with this one @william702

I read that the new Flatliners is not a remake but a sequel with Kiefer Sutherland reappearing as Nelson Wright. She should definitely watch the first Flatliners because It was very entertaining!
