A poem for the night(Poet over night)

Check it out poets, this is me just thinking aloud. Never done this before. So it is subject to correction.

My love for night is so great,
my heart melts for her 'til the dusk of day.
The night darkens when she's away,
dim, fast 'til day's dawn.
Her beauty is great,
Wondering mind 'til she sees,
sleeping is all I do,
While waiting for the moment, for her to say "I do."
