The "cala" is a beautiful and delicate flower, however here in my country it does not have "good press", it is because in the past when wakes were held and the burial of the dead, the calas were the main decoration in funeral floral wreaths. There is an expression widely used by union members and politicians when someone is finished in his career for some mistake they say: "there is the smell of cala".
Oh, no! Now I will think of death when I see this flower. I used to think of a person falling into a hammock.
