- Indian PaintBrush & Friend -
It's already the fourth week of #flowerfriday by @menschenskinder and supported by @lichtblick and @welovesteemit and I didn't even realize it! I always enjoy sharing photos of flowers and that isn't so easy to do during the Winter. Fortunately, I have some shots I took in better weather! This tag is one of my favorites to participate in and it's been very fun so far with some great Flower Power photography!
I am happy to share with you some photographs I took back in Texas about two Springs ago. One of the wild flowers we have abundantly, especially on the plains and along roadsides, are the Prairie-Fire or Indian PaintBrush Flowers. These are one of my mom's personal favorites!
We have the wavy and non wavy leaf varieties back home! I can see where the flower buds get their names!
I thought those Indian PaintBrushes could sure use a friend so I decided to show you a little buddy of theirs that lived not too far away.
