Pink Gerbera
Gerbera, plant sprouts in the basket plant family with approx. 50 species. G. jamesonii is a very beautiful cut flower with durable, long-shaded and luminous orange-red flower curves with a dense wreath of narrow pointed edges. By crossing with other species, cultural forms have been produced with yellow, pink and high-red flowers. Gerbera is grown in Norway in greenhouses as a cut flower and as a pot plant.
The Gerbera flowers gets its name from the German natural scientist T. Gerber, died in 1743
