My garden today

in #flowers6 years ago

Hello dear steemins!

A few days ago we still had 32 ° C today it is only 13 ° C a bit cool for the beginning of summer I would say and the strong wind of the recurring rain makes taking pictures a bit difficult, but still I want to give you some impressions from my garden.

this is the fruit of the finger-leaved akebie (Aebia quinata), It winds up on my pergola, has wonderful, fragrant flowers in spring and is therefore also called chocolate wine.

The Akebie is a tropical climbing plant and reaches a stature height of twelve meters, she prefers a sunny to partially shaded sheltered place.

The fruits are edible and should taste slightly sweet, I'm curious and will tell you how they tasted when it has matured in autumn. The leaves are dried also edible

The heyday of the Akebie is from April to May.

The fruits of the Wisteria (Wisteria)

It is always an impressive experience, when in May a Chinese wisteria opens its flowers and less days make the highlight of the garden design. Hardly a viewer will not be enchanted by the impressive, up to 30 cm long panicles, which show in the jewelry of hundreds of small, lavender blue, butterfly-like flowers.
But even after the flowering season, a Chinese wisteria is a magnificent climbing bush, which then impressed with a deciduous, pretty feathery foliage, which turns bright yellow in autumn. The climbing plant can reach a height of 8 meters.
