Coincidentally, I'm working on a story of goblins (as if to believe that there are no coincidences or, as they say in my village, "that they fly, they fly"). They are a particular type of species that live in the waters of rivers. In the state of Sucre, in eastern Venezuela, they are called "Encantados" (Enchanted), and they have their kingdom under the waters, and sometimes their cities emerge and become visible to some humans. They have their guardians, who guard the entrances of the caves that give access to their worlds; they have their conservatives and, like the globins in love that you describe, when they take someone, they are very dangerous.
I have enjoyed your text very much and it has been very enlightening for my work. Besides, I like this kind of themes a lot. Fantastic literature, in particular.

What a coincidence, @adncabrera. I know of your interest in fantastic literature. I think many Venezuelans are privileged because we were born listening to this kind of story and in our hands is not to forget. Thank you for always commenting! hugs.
