RE: ADSactly Folklore - The goblins, unreal beings

in #folklore6 years ago

Goblins are figures who have certainly nurtured the wonderful legends and tales of our peoples, anywhere in the world, receiving different names and qualities. Painting and cinema have taken advantage of them. They are undoubtedly linked to the rural world, in principle, although they may have moved to the urban, but cities inhabited by people coming from or influenced by that world. In Venezuelan literature, several writers have incorporated them into their stories, as in the case of Alfredo Armas Alfonzo and Orlando Araujo. There is a beautiful and interesting book of stories by an author from Cumaná (Venezuela), Jesús Torres Rivero, titled *Los encantados del agua^, which recreates those stories and imaginative consciousness.
Thank you for your gratifying and illustrative post, @nancybriti.

Venezuelan literature has many stories about these characters. Some stories even approach the figure of the elf as if they were ordinary ghosts. There are certain characteristics in these characters that make them fantastic and wonderful beings. Always grateful for your comment, @josemalavem.
