WORK DONE FOR CHRISTIANITY

in #follow7 years ago

Singing ... "What the Lord has done for me" is not enough, you need to sing ... What have I done with what God has done for me?

The question is what am I doing with my Christianity, not what has Christianity done for me?

It is not only about what I have acquired, but also how I have appropriated the little I acquired.

What have I done with "The Word"?

What have I done with "The forgiveness of sins" I received?

What have I done with the promotion I got at my workplace?

What have I done with the teachings of my pastor and those many conferences I attended last year?

If your local church, friends, colleagues, neighbourhood have not been impacted with what God has done for you in recent years; you have been selectively selfish and you need to repent now!

Christianity is responsiblilty! It is a call to duty!

You're not saved to enjoy salvation alone. Salvation is not personal.

Jesus could have died for the Jews only or his family members. But He died for whole world, even his foes.

Missionaries could have been comfortable in their lands with the gospel, but they left their comfort zones and crossed the shores to reach us; Many travelled barefooted and miles on horsebacks without a spare cloak, not for a dime or token but for the love of the King and His Kingdom.

You're not saved or blessed to keep it to yourself alone, but to spread it abroad.

Blessing people spiritually and financially should be your default mode.
