Thank you @acidyo. I sincerely appreciate this post. I didn't know that about the views, and that if we refresh our own screen that we are adding to the viewer count. I do that randomly to make sure I have seen the most updated info. especially if I am on my iPad. I am fairly new. I have been here since sometime in November. I have been trying to get a feel for how it all works and what I want to share.
I started with trying to connect with people in the Crypto world, and I am in investor, but on here I want to share more of my personal creative side. I do online interviews for Woo Woo type of stuff, and also random individual group discussions that allow others to share their stories and connect with people they resonate with. I love nature, photography and food too. So I can see myself being comfortable in a few categories.
I do want to support new Steemit members too, so I am starting to look more into the introduceyourself now section for those that I can see us following and upvoting one another. Just started really feeling that today. Such a timely post. 🙏
I recommend checking out the @welcoming account as it resteems a lot of good intro posts. :)
Yeah, it takes some time to learn everything and get into it and there's definitely some grind involved too unless you are really famous somewhere else or have been here since very early. Even if you are famous somewhere else though I recommend those people to get their fanbase over here so their posts remain active and not a "rewardgraveyard" where they get a lot of autovotes because they are famous but no Steemians care to read the posts or comment on them - same thing can be said about older Steemians and why they should share their posts on other platforms so they get more views + at the same time introduce new people to the platform.
Cool username, btw. :)
Thank you very much for your response. I wish I had more that I could share with you, I will in the future. 😊
I will definitely take your advice. If you have the time to help me understand one more aspect I would be very grateful. I have my interviews on YouTube and wanted to move them over to DTube, but when I first started I had already shared them here via the YouTube links. When I add to DTube it automatically posts them again here. Should I let that go and just forget about putting them on DTube and just add new material? I wanted to introduce myself into that community as well, but don't want to be penalized for duplicate posts.
Feel free to upload them again but I would suggest to add something to the post that makes the readers and curators aware that it's a re-upload. :)
Ok, GREAT! Thank you so much for everything. 🍺
