It's Friday! As is my habit when the weather is good I cycled home again. My friend Dave joined me this time. He got the train from Arlesey to Stevenage and we set off back home. Unfortunately we had got less than half way when there was a loud pop as Dave's rear tyre exploded. We didn't have a pump, but it's looking like it needs a new tyre anyway. I had to dash back to get the car to pick him up. We'll probably do it again some time, but we also want to do other rides over the summer. It's a great way to explore the area.
My other Friday habit is to share some cool Steemians with you for #FollowFriday. I've seen others doing this, but there are no others today yet. Anyone can do such a post to build the community. Feel free to put links to such posts in the comments.
My selection are people I met at the London Cryptocurrency Show last weekend.
- @eroche made it over from Dublin for the day. We had a good chat and it was interesting to see the restaurant app he's building on Steem.
- a report on the show.@buttpacker is actually two people who like to travel and have fun. Some of their posts are a little 'naughty', but there's nothing wrong with that. They also did
- @gillianpearce is pretty new to Steemit, but is keen to explore what it offers. She's participating in a lot of photo challenges.
- @adetorrent is also a keen photographer.
- I've met @ultravioletmag a few times before. She's also into photography as well as the spiritual aspects of life. She's working at cool blockchain company @etch.
- @redrica is another creative person and fun to be around.
- @cryptocurator was working hard on the @promo-steem stand and we had a good chat.
These are just my suggestions of people who may not be big players on Steemit yet, but they are posting cool stuff. Isn't that what you want on your feed? They are also people who are really interested in making Steemit a success. It's not just about making yourself rich. Many of us want it to create opportunities for others.

I read about Adam. He could be the first Steemian to run for president. Maybe he can fund his campaign with Steem.
I'm pretty sure he uses some of his earnings to fund it if I'm not mistaken!

Ah I miss cycling!! I used to cycle around with a child seat at the back for my eldest, but I stopped when I got pregnant with my 2nd, and then I started driving, so haven't been able to make use of my bike since :( Hopefully that will change soon though!
