Well, I'm a fun guy who found some fungi in the garden today.
It's been another fun week in Steemit land. Steem has gone up a bit, but is dropping in the crypto charts. I guess other coins are just doing better. Meanwhile the Steemit site is in the top 500 in South Korea and top 1000 in Nigeria, Belgium, Austria and Bangladesh. That's an interesting mix. As it gets up there people will take more notice, so do what you can to make people aware in your community.
)As for Follow Friday, I'm going to feature some people I brought to Steemit over the last year or so:
- @rebeccabe is a lovely lady who I got to know on Tsu. We chat frequently, but don't always agree.
- @stav is someone I know from a guitar community. We meet up now and again to get geeky over guitars.
- @dickturpin is a stalwart of the British open source community and a very funny chap. He can tell you some stories of the computer trade.
- @uwelang was also on Tsu. I think I introduced him to Steemit. He's done really well running various themed photo days.
- @jumowa is another Tsuvian who posts fun pictures.
- @voxxov is the latest addition. He's a local musician who I have got to know recently. Definitely an interesting guy who is into art and psychology as well as music.
Please say hi to these fine people. You may even gain some followers yourself. As always, I'm fine with you leaving your own suggestions in the comments, or do a post of your own.

I like what you did there with the "fun guy" and it is a bit strange that Steem is where it is on coinmarketcap the market cap itself has held firm around the current levels i feel like it won't be long for market cap to be over $300 million.

I agree with doing what you can to raise awareness of the platform. That is why I am running @eastcoaststeem and we also have a discord. The page is primarily for curation of east coast Steemians. Also planning for an east coast steemit meetup. The planning is in its infancy at this point but I think momentum is growing. If you have any thoughts on that, feel free to join the discord or dm me.

@chelsea88 good for you... the east coast is beautiful.. I need to get more on discord some great communities there.. not sure if @steevc visits there but he should.. Maybe London has a Steemit group..he did make it to Steemfest .. luck guy
Thanks a lot. Kinda just put that comment out as an open invite for anyone interested. I would have loved to go to steem fest. I've been on steemit almost 6 months so not really long enough to have gotten on the steemfest train in time. Next time!

No Best Buy here, but Black Friday has become a thing in the UK. I may actually be buying a new TV soon, but the timing is coincidental.
Thanks for the shoutout @steevc and for convincing me about Steemit - you are guilty that I can not imagine a day without this platform. Sometimes ups and downs emotionally but I always appreciate your honesty. Have a great weekend.
