Seafood buffet is my favorite dish, if I go to a regular buffet, I will skip foods like chicken, beef, fish, pork,... and just eat seafood. And Poseidon Buffet really stands out as a paradise for those looking for a diverse culinary experience with seafood dishes.
From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was captivated by the delicious dishes that were politely presented and each dish was delicious and attractive. The seafood here is not only fresh but also special in both quality and presentation, making each dish attractive.
I started my culinary journey with light and refreshing options, starting with a variety of salads, sushi and sashimi. In particular, sashimi was the highlight - the slices of salmon, tuna and octopus were extremely fresh, almost melting in my mouth. These fresh dishes cooled my throat.
For any seafood lover, the oysters, sashimi and shrimp and crab options are a must-try. The oysters at Poseidon are large, plump and juicy, served with a variety of condiments such as mignonette sauce, lemon and a touch of chili for those who like it spicy. There are many oyster dishes such as raw oysters, oysters with cheese sauce, grilled oysters with buttered onions, dishes that are grilled hot by the chef. I also enjoyed some cheese shrimp, which was very fatty and delicious. For those who do not like raw dishes, the chefs are happy to provide some small changes, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the taste of the sea.
After tasting the raw dishes, I moved on to the grilled part, which was the best part of the buffet.
The sea crabs were cooked perfectly, the meat was soft and sweet, the crabs were very large and meaty. The scallops and snails had a fatty flavor that I found irresistible. The abalone was grilled with shallots, which were as crispy as mushrooms. The other seafood was grilled just right, preserving its natural juices and flavors. I also tried a variety of dipping sauces, which further enhanced the dish. One of Poseidon's greatest strengths is its ability to bring out the natural flavors of seafood through simple cooking techniques. Poseidon always excels with its premium seafood options. The abalone, for example, was a pleasant surprise. Its texture was firm yet soft, reminiscent of mushrooms but with a more satisfying mouthfeel. Combined with the light seasoning, it was a dish that I couldn't stop eating. It's worth it to sample such high-quality seafood. For those looking for variety, Poseidon offers hot pot options with a variety of broths and fresh ingredients. I especially enjoyed adding shrimp, fish, squid, and mushroom vegetables to the delicious broth, making for a hearty winter meal. The desserts after the seafood were also delicious. Poseidon’s dessert selection was as impressive as the main courses, with options ranging from fresh fruit to beautifully crafted sweets.
The caramel pudding was smooth and creamy, while the light tofu dessert with black pearls was sweet and paired perfectly with a touch of sweet coconut milk. I also enjoyed the mango sago soup, which was refreshing and refreshing. The black sesame sweet soup and black rice pudding were standout options for those who prefer more traditional flavours.
The ambiance of the restaurant contributed to the overall experience. Despite arriving on a Monday, the place was packed, a testament to its popularity and delicious food. The spacious, elegant space made for a comfortable and enjoyable dining atmosphere.
At just $25 per person, the Poseidon buffet is a great value for the quality and variety on offer. However, drinks like coke and beer are not included in the price, you need to pay an additional $1-2.
I left the restaurant with satisfaction and I will continue to visit this restaurant many times. If you are a seafood enthusiast or simply looking for a top buffet experience, Poseidon is an absolute must-try.
