At the weekend I made a steak and kidney stew in the slow cooker and after we had eaten it I was left with some of the gravy left over. I decided to refill the slow cooker so not to waste the gravy so went chucked together a few bits for dinner tonight.
To the gravy I added
a tin of baked beans.
2 carrots.
2 onions.
bag of diced swede.
mushrooms.
8 sausages.
In addition I threw in some dried herbs and some chilli flakes and just left it to cook for the afternoon.
In all it took me just over 5 minutes to prepare and there is plenty left over for second and third portions.
For added flavour add a splash of brown sauce.
hello ....nice to meet you
Reminds me of my college days, quick, cheap and filling 😁
Sometimes that's the best things to make, especially on cold winter days.
Nice comfort food. Takes me back to when my sons were home...
Se ve muy rico ese platillo!
Damn that does look good. I gotta get a slow cooker. We're a little kitchen-disabled :)
A slow cooker makes things so easy, just load them up and come back a few hours later and it's done.
Wow, that looks really tasty! I'm making yellow split-pea soup with pork hocks for dinner tonight ... should last a couple of days ... I hope, lol.
it's so good to want to eat. the shrimp we ate!
Thank you for coming my blog~!
It looks simple and delicious😄
