in the classic version with a spicy tomato sauce you fry onions in olive oil,add the pepperoncini and diced tomatoes,deglaze with a little dry white wine add the clams in shell whole,salt and cook for 4-5 minutes-than add the the al dente cooked spaghetti and serve with a drizzle of cold pressed Ligurian olive oil and fresh parsley
the version here is without the shells and a lot milder
