Time flies when you are having fun. We are already a week into the new year. It has been so much fun having our friends around and they are staying for another 2 weeks. And what's more... 2 of them are getting married here too.
Though the exact date and location are still unclear, prob we know more today. It will be either the beach on one of the islands or a boat on the Kampot river. Both sound great..... and they promised to make sure my hubby and I have plenty of vegan options on the menu.
But let's talk smoothie and blenders
Though I haven't had much time to test my Xmas gift, I couldn't be happier with it. Before I used my semi-heavy duty blender, the Magimix, which I thought was amazing until I got the new baby working.
A 3 horse-powered blender... hell yeah. And the best part I found this Vitamix alternative which looks the same, has similar high-quality parts to get the same results... BUT AT ONE-THIRD OF THE PRICE!
Here's a pic of the new toy (It's the left one ;)). I will make some videos once my friends are back home and I have some more time.

Memory-enhancing Green Drink To Stay Focused All Day Long
Blueberries and raspberries are excellent foods to fight oxidative stress and prevent free radical damage that causes memory malfunctions and mental fatigue.
Both berries contain a unique blend of nutrients that boost memory. They keep the brain healthy by stopping neuron inflammation and neurological damage.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh spinach
2 cups chilled green tea
1.5 cups raspberries
1.5 cups blueberries
2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
Directions
- Brew 2 cups of green tea and chill in the fridge.
- Blend spinach and green tea until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add more water and blend again until smooth. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
Happy Blending!

1 frozen banana
2 dates
